This letter to Mr Daniel Genge
(department of public transport) about the lack of drivers
licences in Gauteng. This is an excerpt from the first
paragraph of this letter dated 3 July 2006 -
"On behalf of
driving instructors, and the learner drivers who are about
to enter the market and contribute to the economy as working
adults, we appeal for assistance to rectify a serious
problem which has reached totally unacceptable proportions,
in fact, it has ground to a complete stop! The repercussions
are unthinkable!"
