A SAIDI member, Pieter Maree
wrote an Email to Councilor Karen Meyer asking what improvements could be made to the system at
the Provincial Call Centre. Karen
Meyer said she has tried on numerous occasions to make an
appointment to see the MEC to show him the training
programmes created by SAIDI. She was unable to secure an
appointment with him.
Secondly, we were also promised two new testing centres by
the city council two years ago. There are no immediate plans
to build them as promised!
